Astrosoniq are a rock band from Oss, the Netherlands.
The "Wizards of Oss" ...exploring the
ends of the rock universe since 1999 and releasing their first album of A.P.Lady in 2000.
Their music can be described as stoner rock with a very strong space rock flavour and is characterized by heavy riffs, funkadelic grooves and lengthy psychedelic instrumental soundscapes mixed with weird samples.

These guys are, in my opinion, one of the greatest stoner/sludge band that have popped up in recent years. Sure, you have the "old gods" like Sleep, Electric Wizard, and Kyuss but Spaceslug brings something new to the table. They're fresh, and it seems like they've got no thought of stopping anytime soon.

Everything I like about desert metal is here - True to the taste of proto-metal... It's got that relentless rhythm section that runs like a Mopar Hemi 572... Vocals that don't make me twitch like I'm listening to King Diamond or Cookie Monster... strong grooves that show up enough times to satisfy... yeah, this is good stuff.
